気孔開度の内的制御に関する用語。青色光やアブサイシン酸を介して孔辺細胞と副細胞（または表皮細胞）の溶質濃度の差を積極的に作り出し浸透的な水の出入りを起こし、細胞の膨圧を変化させて気孔開度を変える。
