乾燥法

脆弱性曲線を測定するための手法の一つ。採取した多数の枝を実験室内で異なる時間、自然乾燥させ、各枝の水ポテンシャルと通水度（もしくはPLC）をプロットし、一つの脆弱性曲線を得る。枝で実験的にエンボリズムを起こす方法は複数あるが、乾燥法は野外で起きる乾燥過程を最もよく再現している。
