======High pressure flow meter method======
**高圧流量計（HPFM）法**

葉や根などの[[h:hydraulic_conductance|通水コンダクタンス]]の最大値を測定する手法。電圧計と同様の原理で、[[h:hydraulic_resistance|通水抵抗]]の値が既知のチューブと植物サンプルを直列につないで水を流し、定常状態でのチューブの前後のゲージ圧の値からサンプルの[[h:hydraulic_conductance|通水コンダクタンス]]を測定する。高い圧力をかけてサンプルに水を流すことができるため、流れにくい器官でも高い精度で[[h:hydraulic_conductance|通水コンダクタンス]]を測定できる。根系の[[h:hydraulic_conductance|通水コンダクタンス]]を測定するときには、圧力を増加させつづけた過渡状態（transient)で短時間のうちに測定を終わらせる方法を用いる。
