 +[[v:vulnerability_curve|脆弱性曲線]]を測定するための手法の一つ。よく水を吸わせた枝を、遠心機のローターに固定して高速で回転させる。このとき枝内の水には枝の両端に向かって遠心力が働くため、乾燥時にかかる強い木部の負圧を再現できる。
